So, you'd like to join the ranks of the high-falutin', intellectual, literary, bohemian-bourgeoise elite? Or maybe you'd just like something nice to read before bed? Well, i can tell you right now, the first step to solving both of those dilemmas is a copy of CITY OF COLD RIBCAGES by Jackson Hays, aka the guy typing to you right now. C.O.C.R. is a collection of poems and one story about the city of Minneapolis and the author's conflicting and sometimes interesting feelings about it. He grew up there, don't'cha know. Reading it, you can almost hear the ridiculous accent, which may or may not be a good thing. This first printing is an edition of 65 books, each of which is numbered, dated, and signed by yours truly.

Some fun facts about CITY OF COLD RIBCAGES:

The cover photgraph, ironically, features five "Tacomans" and only one Minneapolitan. / The book contains four poems never before seen on Poemosity or anywhere else! / The font used for all the titles is Didot, the font for all the text is Baskerville. / The book was printed on a Kodak NexPress 2100 and bound "manually" on a Heidelberg Stitchexpert, using Mohawk Navajo Brilliant White 80# text and 90# cover paper. / The photograph of the Mississippi in the middle of the book (yeah, there're illustrations!) was taken the morning the book was printed. It was a beautiful day, and I felt there was just something missing still. Turns out it was a photgraph of the Mississippi. / "Mississippi" is the first word in the book.
